How Many Dental Implants Do I Need For Full Arch Restoration?

Dr. Olson and his team at Innovative Dental are committed to providing patients with customized dental solutions that promote long-lasting oral health and wellness. We perform a high volume of implant restorations every year in order to help people regain their smiles and their confidence. In this video, Dr. Olson discusses how many dental implants are needed to support a full arch restoration.

Implant-based full arch restoration is the process of replacing all or most of the teeth on the upper and/or lower arch with a custom dental prosthetic that is anchored in place using dental implants—often called an implant-supported denture. Using dental implants to anchor a denture improves the comfort and stability of the restoration while also providing a more natural look and feel.

Many dentists emphasize the All-on-4® and All-on-6® systems, which offer patients the benefit of receiving an entire arch of new teeth while only needing four to six individual implants. However, as part of Innovative Dental’s commitment to putting patients first, we do not charge per implant during full arch replacement treatments. Instead, one of our highly-qualified dentists will assess your oral structures and jawbone density in order to determine the optimal number of implants needed in your specific case. We do not believe in a “one-treatment-fits-all” approach to dentistry; instead, we personalize every full arch restoration in order to ensure the most stable, long-lasting outcome.
