Full Mouth Smile Makeover Using Implants, Invisalign^®, Crowns, and Veneers

In this video, cosmetic dentist Grant Olson, DDS highlights the case of a patient who received a complete smile makeover here at Innovative Dental in Springfield, MO. Our team utilized a range of advanced treatments—including accelerated Invisalign^®, dental implants, dental crowns, and porcelain veneers—to completely transform the patient’s entire smile in just a few visits.

The process started with a virtual consultation, wherein the patient—who was traveling from out of town—was able to discuss his goals with our team and make a plan in advance of his first visit. Treatment then began with the team extracting a tooth that had become infected. A dental implant was placed in order to fill the gap in his smile. Implants take about six months to fully fuse with the jawbone, so to make the most of that time, the patient underwent accelerated Invisalign^® with Propel™ to fix his bite irregularities while his new implant healed. Next, once the patient’s mouth was healed and his bite had been corrected, the team was able to complete the rest of the smile makeover in just one more visit to the office. Using advanced digital imaging and our state-of-the-art CEREC^® in-office milling system, the patient was able to receive 22 crowns and veneers for a stunning smile transformation.
